Alla 46-esima edizione degli Academy of Country Music Awards la nostra Taylor Swift si è esibita sulle note di "Mean". La cantante ha anche ricevuto il premio di "Entertainer of the Year" dicendo poi :

“Questa è la prima volta che ricevo un award del genere e sto letteralmente andando fuori di testa. Il fatto che il riconoscimento arrivi dai fans rende tutto bellissimo. Siamo appena ritornati da Asia ed Europa dove eravamo in tuor. Grazie a tutti per questo bellissimo regalo di ritorno e grazie per non esservi dimenticati di me. Siete la cosa più bella che mi sia mai capitata”.
